New Testament In A Month Plan — DAY 8

Today, June 10 — I Cor. 1:1-15:8

The church in Corinth is a mess. This group of believers lives in a city flooded with the filth of perversion and idolatry, and they are sharing in the spiritual sewage in many ways.

In this letter, Paul addresses doctrinal error, sexual impurity, quarrels, selfishness and pride … just to name a few of the problems. While the Corinthian believers stand justified in Christ, they are in need of serious ongoing sanctification.

In other words, we were much like you and me.

Tomorrow, June 11 — I Cor. 15:9-16:24, 2 Cor. 1:1-13:14, Gal. 1:1-2:7
