Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

For me, the challenge to read the New Testament in a month is part of my quest to prepare my mind for action. I so desire to live a fruitful life that glorifies Jesus.
Is there any action in recent days that you would attribute to the mental preparation that comes from meditating on the scriptures? Is there any specific actions that you long to undertake in the strength that only the Lord provides?
