Win 6 Books!

October 2, 2010

One of the by-products of writing reviews is a pile of books growing steadily in my already-crowded house. So I thought I’d share the wealth by giving away these once-read texts.

I’ll kick this off with the six books shown below. Links to my reviews (just click on the photo) are provided in case you want to see what you’re getting yourself into. But for crying out loud, I’m giving one lucky winner all six books for free, so you’ve got nothing to lose!

I’m going to draw the winner from those who have signed up to receive free update from me via email. To participate, just type your email address into the subscription area in the upper right hand side of this page and you’re good to go. I’ll select the winner Wednesday, October 6th.

Win The Unfinished Gift by Dan Walsh

March 23, 2010

I gave away a family value pack of Slim Jims when I launched this blog. Doesn’t everyone love highly processed meat products? Actually, Slim Jims are probably meat byproducts now that I think about it.

I’m stepping up the to big time now and giving away a book. A hard cover copy of The Unfinished Gift by Dan Walsh. To be honest, it is a little used as I read it for the book review posted on this blog.

For a chance to win the book, which I found to be quite good, just leave me a comment below saying “I want to win the book, Dave!”

While you’re at it, please sign up to receive free updates via email or RSS feed using the simple web tools to the right of this post. That way, you’ll receive notification of who won, along with other updates from this blog in the days to come.
